- Shea Water Card: A valid Shea Water Card demonstrates an understanding of water industry health and safety requirements.
- HPWJ Drain Module: Training in high-pressure water jetting for drain cleaning and maintenance.
- HPWJ Safety Module: Ensuring safe practices and procedures when using high-pressure water jetting equipment.
- Working at Heights: Understanding and adherence to safe working practices when working at elevated heights.
- Asbestos Awareness: Knowledge and awareness of asbestos-related risks and safety precautions.
- Manual Handling: Proper techniques for safe lifting and handling of heavy objects to prevent injuries.
- Abrasive Wheels: Training in the safe operation of abrasive wheels machinery.
- Dyno A.S.S.I.S.T.S Training: Familiarity with the Dyno A.S.S.I.S.T.S program, which emphasizes excellent customer service and technical competence.
Competency Assessment
Partners joining Machmade Ltd will undergo a competency assessment over a three-month period. This assessment is crucial to ensure that partners are competent and capable of delivering high-quality services. The assessment covers various aspects, including but not limited to:
- Safe Use of Hand Tools: Demonstrating proficiency in using hand tools safely and effectively.
- Safe Use of Rotary Machines (100/300/700): Competence in operating rotary machines at different pressure levels for drain cleaning.
- Safe Use of Plant (HPWJ Over Pumping): Ensuring safe handling and operation of high-pressure water jetting equipment.
- Testing & Tracing: The ability to conduct testing and tracing to identify issues in drainage systems accurately.
- CCTV Surveying & Coding: Proficiency in conducting CCTV surveys of drainage systems and accurately coding the findings.
- Confined Spaces: Competency in working safely in confined spaces, where applicable.
- Trench Support: Understanding and implementation of trench support measures, as needed.
- Lining: Proficiency in drain lining techniques, where required.
